Caring for your freshly cut tree:
Treat your freshly cut tree like you would a fresh cut flower!
Place tree in water holding stand within 4 hours of cutting.
Make a 1" fresh cut if surface begins to dry and sap over, and promptly place in water.
Check water level daily.
Use a tree preservative.
Keep tree away from heat sources such as heater vents or fireplaces.
